YSLU offers MA degree programs since 2008 with seven majors in the spheres of linguistics, intercultural communication, translation, linguistics and information technologies, philology, pedagogy, and foreign language teaching methodology at present.
In order to apply for any of the MA Degree programs at our University (two years, full-time only), the applicant is expected to hold a BA Degree or to have completed a course equivalent to it.
The assessment is conducted in compliance with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), the grading system of which is based on class percentile i.e. how students performed relative to their peers in theory, practice, MA Dissertation etc.
The MA Degree is conferred to those who earned 120 credits in accordance with the ECTS System. In the course of one academic year the students are supposed to earn 60 credits.
